Vehicle Detail
Let us talk rare for a minute.1962 Oldsmobile Cutlass F85 Convertible Deluxe with only 49,298miles. It is a true 4-speed,Bucket seats, with power steering and power top. Also has the 215/185h.p.aluminum engine with the factory 4 barrel carb. Anyone that is in to collector cars know what they have found here. It is my understanding that a little more than 9800 of these(deluxe) Convertibles were made. Now, narrow that down to 4spd cars (less than 200 built). I guarantee that this is one of a few left in existence, and I dare say maybe the only low mileage one. IT HAS: Power steeringPower convertible topbucket seats (console delete)Working AM radioNew 13" Michelin tires with F85 hubcapsOriginal and unused spare tire and tools100% rust free with 1 repaintFactory 4speed ( around 200 made) Fender skirtsParade boot Aluminum 215/185hp V8 engineThe DATA PLATE reads: 06E STYLE 62-3167 ( 1962 F85 Deluxe Series 31 Convertible) BODY BK 929 (Built in Kansas City,KS on the fifth week of June,1962) TRIM 993 Wedgewood Mist INTERIOR color PAINT H 4 (Cirrus Blue with a blue top-Changed to white at some point) ACC 1-11 ??????????????????? The engine numbers are S-183276G With S as prefix and G as suffix makes it a 215/185 hp 10.25:1 compression engine and has the Rochester 4 bbl.carb. FYI: The tu-tone paint was also added at some point for the convertibles were not available in tu-tone paint. I DO NOT have any of the original paperwork for this car unfortunately.Click the link below for 75 detailed pictures all.gif" style="border:none;" alt="tsw10671's 1962 Oldsmobile F85 Cutlass Convertible album on Photobucket" />
