I've owned this car for nearly 3 years and time just wont allow me to finish it. It is a 68 firebird convertible, has a 400 engine out of a 2nd generation firebird with mild cam and original automatic transmission. It does run and lot drives( needs new wheel studs in front ). Must be trailered to you if you are the winning bidder until wheel studs are repaired. Body work is about 75% complete- I just primered the whole car to prevent rust as it was taken all the way down to bare metal. includes rear bumper and door panels that I intended to replace once the body was done. new American racing 17" wheels with z rated directional tires. The car is a spl-1 coded car (special order paint color).Also is a column shift which is rare. Have Pontiac historical society documentation included. Car has had all 4 floor pan sections replaced- It's not pretty but appears rigid. I like a cleaner look and intended to replace entire floor since they are so cheap to get. 3) frame rails - they have been patched to- again, I intended to replace them also for the cosmetics. 4) convertible top frame is good, works nice manually but canvas needs replaced.
