Vehicle Detail
For sale is my 2001 Ford Mustang GT Convertible. White with a Black Top and Black Leather interior. 5 Speed Stick. Here is a list of features: Mach 460 Sound System (CD Changer does NOT work)Air Conditioning (works)Tilt Steering WheelPower Drivers Seat with Lumbar supportPower DoorsPower WindowsPower Mirrors Power SteeringPower BrakesCruise Control on steering wheel (does not work, quit about 3 months ago...)Power Convertible Top (works great) Fog LightsRear Window DefrostDual Front AirbagsRear SpoilerDay/Night Rear View MirrorTrunk Release in glove box It was manufactured by Ford in November of 2000. I bought it at an auto auction in October 2013. It is completely stock, except for the Steeda Cold Air intake on the engine. (installed by a previous owner) The following upgrades / repairs have been done in the last 3 years:Oil Change, Spark Plugs, Front Sway Link, Radiator Hose - Oct 20134 FalkenZiex ZE912 Tires: 245/45 ZR17 (at about 90,000 miles)Fuel Filter and one O2 sensor - Dec 2013NEW Convertible Top - May 2014 Drivers Door Window Motor - July 2014Clutch Cable replaced - October 2015Fuel Pump, Fuel Filler tube - March 2016H Pipe (exhaust) including all 4 catalytic converters Rear Pinion Seal - April 2016 This is a fun summer car. I did not drive it in the winter (sat at my warehouse). Tracks straight, No leaks, uses a little oil...say a quart every 2000 miles or so. Not unusual for a car this age. No smoke at all. As mentioned above, Cruise control gave out about 3 months ago. Have not tried to get it fixed. I drive this car 5 miles from home to office every day. CD Changer has never worked. But the AM/FM works fine. Pictures show my Sirrius/XM satellite mount. That is not included. I will be removing that. Passenger side headlight works, but has a lose piece of plastic in it. I just ignore it. Tires still have some tread left, but you better plan on buying a set in the next 5000 miles. The set I put on in 2013 cost about $500. They have about 20,000 miles on them. It is not a show car. Has lots of nicks, scratches. I have covered them with the Dr. Color Chip paint touch up kit. Looks great from 10 feet away...but you can see lots of minor cosmetic issues up close. I drive it easy. No dropping the clutch. No drag racing. I just put the top down and cruise... :) Drivers seat has some tears in it. See picture. I also mentioned above replacing the "H" Pipe. This is the part of the exhaust system with 4 catalytic converters. I have a friend who is a mechanic at a Ford dealership nearby. He pulled a stock "H" pipe off his Cobra and installed it on my car. It had about 30K miles on it. Perfect condition. I did this because at the time, one of the catalytic converters had failed and was throwing an error code (check engine light). Instead of replacing the cat, I just swapped it all for $500 installed... The convertible top is now 2 years old...and still looks brand new. No rips, tears, nothing. The power top goes up and down perfect. The new top cost $1150, but it was worth it. Make me an offer. Looking for a good home. Someone who will enjoy driving it...
