Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1971 Mustang Mach 1. I bought this car in 2004 from a friend at work. It was literally in pieces. The car was pretty much gutted and in boxes. The body work and paint where done by a local restoration shop who specialized in high-end work. The color is jetstream blue. The interior was mostly redone by myself. The seats were reupholstered by a local shop. They are in mint condition. Brand new carpet and mats. New wood grain wheel. The door panels I have our original and I also have your one remanufactured door panels. They will need to be converted over by someone with the skills necessary. The 351 Cleveland is not the original numbers matching motor. It runs but needs some smoothing out. The motor has less than 50 hours on it after a complete rebuild. Over $3000 was invested in the motor alone. It has a fresh C4 transmission. I added throwback torque thrust wheels. They are 17 x 10 and 17 x 9. I also have the original mock one wheels and will include them as well. The car is 90% complete and just needs someone with the resources and energy to get it to 100%. I have quite a few extra parts that will be included. For personal reasons it's simply time for me to move on. Would prefer local pick up. However I can work with the winner to coordinate with shipping the car. Good luck bidding! On Jul-03-16 at 03:32:12 PDT, seller added the following information: Please excuse a few of the "Voice to Text" typos... e.g. "door panels our" instead of "door panels are", "mock one wheels" .. Of course they are Mach 1 wheels. "your one" was supposed to have been "Year One". Please let me know if you have any questions before you bid. Thanks! On Jul-03-16 at 03:46:09 PDT, seller added the following information: With regard to the wheels: I added 1.5" Summit spacers. The rears are perfect. The fronts need to be changed to 1" or less. There is a slight rub if the wheel is turned too sharply. That will need to be addressed. The spacers are needed for fitment around the disc brakes. This is minor - and not an issue at all if the new owner prefers to convert back to the stock wheels.
