According to Marco Fazio: the chassis number AR 3045032 originally corresponds to an Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Veloce USA (115.02), manufactured on the 18th September 1974 and sold on the 28th November 1974 to Alfa Romeo USA, Englewood Cliffs. The body colour is ivory, with amaranth tex interiors. This sporty Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Veloce convertible is loads of fun. I am selling it because I do not have a garage to store it inside. You can enjoy driving this sporty little Alfa while you install the carpet of your choice. I removed the carpet and have not had the time to purchase and install new carpet. I have repaired two small holes in each front floor pan and inserted a one inch removable drain plug. The new top was installed a year ago and it has no damage and the vinyl back panel is clear and flexible. The top needs to be cleaned. The paint could use a good buffing and polish and wax. The car has no damage and the original owner chose to change the color from off white to a deep dark purple/plum with nice metal-flake. The paint job is professionally done.The paint color has been referred to as "Eggplant". In the shade, the car looks black, in the sun the metallic really shows. There are a couple of spots between the paint and window edge that need touch-up. There is a small blistered spot just under the trunk lid in front of the bumper shelf. No rust out, just paint blistered up. I removed the weber carbs and installed new kits and tuned them and re-installed with new gaskets. Fuel system works great. All the glass and windshield are excellent, no scratches or cracks. All door handles and window cranks well. There was a small hole in both front floor pans where the drain plug/blanks were originally and I repaired those. Easy to fix with small patch. I have fixed them. I am driving the car daily. This roadster can be driven to your location, but I would recommend replacing the tires before any long trips. In fact, the tires must be replaced since they are old. Good tread, sidewalls are cracking...not safe. The spider only has 29,550 original miles and the drivetrain is strong and the metal is solid. The original Pennsylvania Title for this Alfa Romeo is clean. The car is located and tagged in Alabama, but Alabama does not provide title for vehicles prior to 1975. You can take this Alabama registration and the Bill of Sale that will be provided, and register and Title this vehicle in any state, guaranteed. If you are not able to tag and title with the documentation provided, I will give a full refund of the purchase price. The car includes the original jack, original owners manual, original warranty service book with the 12000 mile ticket still intact. The back vinyl panel that goes under the back window it included for a pattern. Please understand, this car only has 29,500 original miles, very low mileage for a 1974 vehicle. Very Rare. I just installed the left hand side view mirror to make it a lot easier in reverse operation. The car runs great and gets great compression. It also sounds good with the dual exhaust.
