Up for auction is my 1967 Volkswagen Beetle. This was a South Carolina car until purchased by me in 2012 Since then it has been kept clean and dry inside my auto storage building. It is registered insured and licensed and has been driven regularly since I bought it. It looks pretty good in the photos but when you look closely you can see the normal dings and paint wear and tear of a 49 year old automobile. Interior is all original and in very good condition. It was painted once (pearl white) prior to my purchase. It has a non original exhaust pipe and radio. Note the dashboard has been cut to accommodate the newer radio. I believe a radio bezel is available from VW parts dealers to refit an original radio for a more authentic look. Very little rust anywhere (see photos) I replaced the fuel pump about three years ago, other than that it has not required any servicing. This is not a show car but could be a great daily driver (as it has been for me) or a good base for a total restoration. Starts, runs, steers and stops normally as it should. Car is currently in the Houston area (Richmond, TX) at my son's home and is also for sale locally. I reserve the right to end this auction early if sold locally.
