Vehicle Detail
YOU CAN'T BEAT THIS LITTLE FAST CONVERTIBLE FOR VALUE. She's only done 87,000 miles and has had all her defects sorted. Salvage title when I got her in 2013. Now has clear blue Texas title. It is priced accordingly as I know salvage history makes the ride less valuable. Had some cosmetic front end damage from the classic fender bender. Looks fine and all things are in order on the exterior. Only remaining casualty is the adaptive head lights. Guess if you want them to move, it will be a project. I have driven it some 10,000 miles since she came into my little fleet. My first Jag was a 1963 E type 3.8 coupe. Bird's Egg blue with crimson leather and manual tranny. That was way back in the '80's. Heck, I must have been a teenager...ha. Then lots of Corvettes, BMW's, Land Rovers, Jeeps and other toys along the way. This Black XK was the second of three modern Jaguars to be tried. White XK8 ragtop was first a few years ago. Sweet ride but a little to tame. It did call back the fish mouth E type look which was nice. Then this one which is listed for sale. Still have an XKR convertible in the garage. It is also triple black (see a pattern?) and has done only 6,700 miles. Guess I drive less as I age... Ok, the good. Nice paint, top and leather. Good wood. Later model XKR wheel and tire takeoffs. Drives out well and is the 300'ish horse power plant. Much tamer and easier to avoid tickets than the 500+ hp XKR. The bad. No moving headlights. No navigation. (you will have to use your smart phone for that). A few rock chips and wants to be loved again. You might say she was jilted when the later model rolled in. We have the car in the Dallas warehouse. It is handy to Dallas and Houston area and I will be happy to roll or trailer her to you if you have paid. Otherwise we'll put her on your transport company's vehicle and make sure to shoot pics of her as she rolls away toward you. Your expense if I don't deliver locally or no charge if you come for her. Why do I call them 'her'? Guess sailors are always longing for the women. Real nick name for the XK is BlackBeard. Not very feminine. Now bid on my car. Come and see her/it/him when you like. Call for appointment of course. Oops that is email for appointment. If you are bidding because you like the car, but don't have the money...well, let's not play each other, shall we. If the car is not as described and you have paid, I will cheerfully refund your money. Feedback and the word of a Texan are valuable. We defend both.
