I will try to be as honest as possible in this description, it is a 46 year old truck that you can either drive as is or make a really nice truck out of. The truck is a 1970 Medium Blue C10 long wheel base with very nice original paint/patina. The odometer reads just below 40k but I am sure that would be 140k. It runs and drives very well but does have manual steering and brakes. It has a 307 V8 and TH350 Transmission. The top end has been recently gone through as it has new seals and gaskets, also a new water pump, rebuilt carb. and a new radiator. It has also been swapped over to an internally regulated alternator. The truck does leak a little oil after a drive, looks like it could be a rear main but its not much and I still drive it all the time and just add some when it needs it. The truck does have some period correct 16" steel wheels which were an upgrade for this series of truck and correct dog dish caps. Could use a set of tires as the ones it has have had plenty of miles on them. I would not be afraid to hop in it and drive anywhere though. The truck is very straight and has nice patina as well, there is a spot on the drivers rear bedside that has some old bodywork that is cracking. There is some rust in the passenger side lower fender cup and inner fender, drivers rocker, corners and floors which is normal for these trucks but I will say it is not as bad as what is average for them. I pulled the interior out and sanded/wire brushed the floors and then coated with POR 15 rust inhibitor to stop the rust from spreading. I also installed new carpet and sill plates as well as a new dash pad. Blasted and painted the seat brackets, installed a new Mexican Serape blanket seat cover and installed some nice original door panels and arm rests. I hate to sell this one because it has a ton of potential to be a cool truck but I have too many projects. I have a spare tailgate that has no rust and is the exact medium blue and I also bought a set of original/ used 71 spindles, calipers and rotors towards swapping over to disc brakes that are included with the sale. I also have the upper bedside trim for the drivers side as well. Buyer will be responsible for pickup or shipping but I will be glad to assist. There is a non-refundable $500 deposit due within 48 hours of sale and the truck comes with a Bill of Sale as Georgia does not require titles on vehicles of this age. Thank you for looking.
