Vehicle Detail
1997 GMC Suburban Work Truck with 108k. I have used this truck as my work truck for the past year. It runs and drives great, it drives and feels like a 20 year old Chevy that it is. I have pulled a 6000 pound trailer on 600 mile hauls with no problem. It has a curt frame mount receiver with a 10,000 tow rating. Four wheel drive engages and works, I have never needed to use it but its all here. Transmission is smooth in all gears. The engine is smooth and strong, after you let the truck idle for 45 seconds before driving. All power windows and locks work great. Ac is cold in the front and rear and hot heat. In the past year all work that has been done to the truck starting with new heads, head gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, water pump, thermostat, rear drive shaft rebalanced, egr emissions delete, fuel pressure regulator, spark plugs, wires, etc. The check engine is on and will be from the egr delete and other emissions removal. The truck has lots more power after the egr delete. This is a work truck that I do drive everywhere. The paint has seen a lot of Florida sun in its 20 years. The wheels are 2009 GMC Truck wheels, tires should be replaced but grip the road well. There are 2 aluminum spare tires in the back. The windshield has a crack on the top drivers side. I get a solid 18mpg much better than my land rover discovery. I bought this truck from the original owner who paid 51K. I have thousands in this truck then it has made me thousands. Just 3 weeks a ago a Toyota Prius ran in front of me at 15 mph, pushing the left front bumper up. The pictures are current and show the damage. It was a very minor accident, these trucks just keep going.
