1964 Chevelle SS Resto Mod (PRICE LOWERED) (New pics below) 200 miles since ground up build. I'm the owner and have spent the last 1.5 years on this restore. Car is in great shape, I drive the car everywhere so some blemishes will show up in certain places but as you can see from the pictures, it's very clean. I keep it garaged all the time and only drive it on nice days. We have spent countless hours and countless funds working to bring this Car back to life and feel she turned out very nice. All new ARP bolts were used and ARP Head Studs, not the cheap TTY bolts. Motor was completely rebuilt and holds 60Lbs pressure at idle. No leaks from anything on this car. LS1 injectors, intake, TB and much more. This setup should produce around 330-340 HP at the crank. Runs very strong. 4L60E was a custom rebuild and came from a 98 LS1 Camaro with approximately 2000 miles. New converter was installed when we assembled it. Will grab a good hard second gear when accelerating and all other shifts are firm. Custom tuning to get the most from this setup works flawlessly. All codes are clear and car starts and runs great. The car is setup for Vintage Air and the parts needed are The sure fit kit PN 961065 and the correct upper LS conversion bracket PN 141807, This is complete compressor and all. Firewall has been smoothed and the underside of the dash on the passenger side is open and ready for this kit to bolt in. Order these items and you will receive the correct parts to complete your install of heat and air for the Chevelle. You can see these items and the cost on the Vintage Air Website. (Around $1500 last I checked) This is a straight forward easy install. The car has dual fans, only one is running now and the car never gets above 190 Deg. The other fan will come on when you turn the Vintage Air on with the switch provided in the kit. The OBD port is located under the dash on the drivers side and all ECU changes or codes can be read from this location. All codes are clear and there are no trouble lights on. (Gauges have check engine lights That are operating as all other displays that modern cars show, even high beams show on these gauges) I have all the original manuals for the Dash Gauges, Shifter, Speakers, Electrical harness, LS harness, Console, Stereo and more.
