Up for sale is this 1985 VW Cabriolet. We have owned this car for about 2 years but our new baby means that it is no longer something have time to enjoy. The previous owners owned this vehicle for about 19 years and it has been a GA car all its life. The previous owners had the car painted orange and kept up all the maintenance. We have only put on about 3500 miles on it since we purchased it as it was a weekend toy for my wife. The top is original and does have some rips nut does not leak under normal rain or while washing the car. The driver seat has been reupholstered due to some rips at the seams from 30 years of use. This is a very nice driver car with everything working including A/C. The manual transmission shifts smoothly into every gear with NO grinding. The mileage is accurate, only 133966 miles. I recently drove this car for 2 weeks back and forth to work to check for dependability and had no issues at all, my drive is 36 miles each way going back roads so a lot of stop and go.
