Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1966 Ford Mustang. I have owned this vehicle for 13 years and it has been my passion. With my family expanding, its time to let my toy go to a new home. This car started its life as a six cylinder Plain Jane Mustang. I started its transformation shortly after purchasing it in 2003. It has a 5.0 out of an 87 Fox Body. The transmission is a reverse geared C4 with manual valve body built by Moultrie Transmission here in GA. The steering and suspension and been completely replaced including the GearBox. The suspension was upgraded to the V8 GT so it sits lower and handles the additional weight of the engine. The brakes have all been upgraded to 4 wheel disc with the standard Granada front and Lincoln rear. Fuel system has been replaced including gas tank, fuel sending unit, fuel pump (have both a standard flow and Edlebrock high flow pump). Rear end is a V8 rear end with a stock open gear but have a complete 4.11 limited slip rear end that I removed due to highway trips (not good to ride at 70-80 with a 3 speed and 4.11 gear for a few hundred miles) The interior has been completely redone including the front seats which were from an 87 convertible but had them reupholstered to black to match the interior. Rear seats were upholstered to match design of front seats. Gauges are Ford Motorsport and were not cheap. B&M shifter and custom made console since the standard size is too wide to fit in between the seats. Custom Autosound front kick panel with speakers. The body is in remarkable shape for any age. This car has been in GA its whole life for as far as I can tell. There is absolutely no body rust on this car that I can find. The only rust at all is with the battery tray which is an aftermarket replacement and was welded in prior to my purchase of it. This car still has the original red oxide primer on the underside and it looks great. I worked for years at a Mustang restoration shop when I purchased this car so we went over it with a fine tooth comb and replaced the parts with quality aftermarket parts most from Scott Drake made here in the USA. The cowl has never leaked when I wash the car which is a very common issue with these vehicles. Like any classic car owner, I do have some extra parts which can go with the car if you wish. Some of the rubber seals have been replaced but I still have the trunk, door and channel weatherstrip in packaging waiting the eventual paint day. Paint is the original lacquer finish and is the original Arcadian Blue color however I do believe that it has been either partially or fully repainted before the lacquer paint was discontinued. It does shine up after and good buffing but still shows its age. This is a good driver vehicle and after a new paint job, would be a real head turner. Some of these pictures are from last year but the car looks the exact same with the exception of brand new tires in the front, the tires in the rear only have about 1500 miles on them but the front were worn out due to an alignment issue that has been corrected. This vehicle is also for sale locally and I have the right to end auction at any time. CLEAN GEORGIA TITLE. I do not need help selling this car and will not sell out of country. If you have any questions, please email me and I will respond as quickly as possible. Thank you for looking at my vehicle good luck and happy Bidding.
