Vehicle Detail
I bought Jeep 2 years ago from a gentleman who bought the Jeep at a local auction and fixed up the Jeep and maintained it to its current condition. I took it in the shop in Mobile, AL to have it inspected when purchased not expecting of what I needed to fix up on it. Some of these things I replaced I didn't have to fix up but I like things that work. I had to have all 4 rotors, calipers and brake pads replaced. The starter replaced, starter switch replaced, alternator replaced, battery replaced, A/C did not work when I bought it but had it fixed as well. Replaced heater core, A/C condenser, A/C lines, radiator replaced, all four struts replaced, right rear window electric motor replaced. Put on seat covers when I bought the Jeep (not that the seats were damaged but for comfortability) and sealed off the sunroof as it did leak. With white duct-tape I taped around the sun-roof to seal it from getting water inside the vehicle. The vehicle has since been in multiple rain storms with no leaking from inside the vehicle. The sun-roof does still function and work opening and closing but not since sealing it shut. The back gate struts were completely shot when I bought it as I would open it from getting groceries and it would fall down fast. I couldn't stand it so I bought both struts and replaced that too. Speaking of struts, also when taking it to a shop they had to prop the hood up with something because the hood struts were worn as well. Again, embarassed really from the shop I fell victim of myself and replaced those struts too. The engine and transmission are in perfect working order with no issues. This thing is all fixed up pretty much even though it may seem like a lot that I had to fix on it. I dumped at least $3,000 to get it to where it is today. My wife drove it for 2 years to her work to and from with no issues. It runs great, A/C blows cold air (which is vital in South Alabama), tires are only a few years old. No major scratches on the paint and no door dings either. I also installed Halo projector LED headlights and tail-lights as the stock ones were going bad. They were about $400 total, which I also forked over. Even though you may think the price is high, understand of how much I put into the vehicle to get it to this point, I would say looking at everything that was replaced it can make it many more miles. I wanted to keep the Jeep after dumping a lot of money into it, as its basically a new vehicle again, but my wife's sister ran into financial difficulty and we opted to help them out by taking that vehicle over in payments. Plus we are selling due to adopting another vehicle which we have to pay payments on so that brings our vehicle status to 3. We want to get our vehicles down to 2. Furthermore, we recently had twin baby boys and opted for a newer/safer vehicle as well. I am transparent about the vehicle as I would of liked to have been treated the same way when I bought it. Any questions feel free to ask me. I hope someone who buys it will enjoy it and won't have to due pretty much anything to it. I wish I could give out a warranty but unfortunately I cannot. The Jeep has been good to us and we are eager to find it a new home. I have the title in hand through the state of Alabama. Good bidding!!
