Hello. You are bidding on 1963 MERCURY COMET S22 CONVERTIBLE NO RESERVE AUCTION. The power plant consists of an in line 6 cylinder engine coupled to a 3 speed Automatic transmission. This very clean COMET S22 drives and handles very well. There is no hesitation from the engine under power and when the brakes are applied firmly, the car stops in a straight line. There are no fluids leaking from either the engine or transmission. The exterior Black finish shows in great condtion. All of the external lenses and glass surfaces are present and intact without any cracks broken pieces. The lighting and electrical systems are in proper working order. The passenger cabin is in good condition. The seating surfaces, carpets and Soft top show in good condition without any rips, tears or stains. The original radio is present but does not function and below it an AM/FM radio with CD player has been installed. The odometer currently reads 89736 miles but due to the age of the vehicle and a 5 digit odometer Rpm veg is unable to verify the reading as actual or correct. The entire undercarriage shows rust free. Additional equipment includes; Power Top. All of this is riding on a set of P185/80R13 tires with 80% of their tread remaining.
