1957 FORD FAIRLANE 500 CONVERTIBLETOTAL RESTORATION PROJECTBARN FIND IN STORAGE SINCE 1974!The nice thing about this car is what you see is what you get. It is still wearing its original 1957 paint! It even still shows its original dealer sticker still on the trunk. This car was in Midland NC its whole life never left the town from new. I purchased it from the nephew of the original owner who inherited it when his uncle passed. It was still in its original 1957 title when he got it! It needs a complete restoration but is an excellent starting point. The trunk is still very solid, the rear floor pans will need replacing the fronts seem ok but may need some patches. I have made no attempt to start the engine I figured who ever restores this car will do a complete rebuild along with the restoration. I put four new tires on the original 57 rims so it is easily rollable. This will be a HIGH dollar car once finished. This car is a great starting point worthy of a frame off restoration. 1950's convertibles are bringing $75,000 to over $100,000 these days and they are not making any more of them.
