I acquired this off the original owner , Bought new in France and brought to England where it was converted to RHD. It left England in 1968 when he immigrated to Canada. Driven from Montreal to Vancouver where it spent its life as a driver until it was put in to storage in February of 1976. I had intentions of starting restoration this month but a challenging Miura Project presented itself and I want to focus my time and money on that. With over One million 403's produced, only a little over 2000 were Cabriolets. With most of those in the graveyard, your lucky to even see one on the global market. When you do , nice examples are changing hands in the 6 figures. The majority of the body is original paint . Car is complete except for the rear seat cushion and windshield (will be sealed for shipping) . Comes with many spares labeled in boxes, everything is here to restore the car including duplicates. No headaches searching for parts. Typical Peugeot rust in fenders and quarters. I have 2 good fenders and quarter sections included in the sale. There is also rust on drivers side floor pan , inner sill will need a little work, the rest is solid. I can install new fenders before shipment at buyers request to save room. I have all the parts to convert back to LHD ( Fully Complete padded dash with gauges, wiring harness, transmission, steering column, wheel , shifter, pedals etc) The car rolls easy for transport.
