Let's try this again... Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions BEFORE placing a bid or asking questions as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1995 Mercedes Benz E300 Diesel. This car needs no introduction as these cars are probably among the longest lasting and best built cars on the planet...and this example is no exception. I would rate the exterior of this E300 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. Please keep in mind that this is a 20 year old car with mileage in excess of 300k. As you can see, the exterior shows very well. The classic black and gray exterior suits this car well. The black finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older car, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific example, there are the usual stone chips on the nose and a few spots of corrosion visible on the body. All I noticed was around the antenna, one door handle and two or three little spots about the size of a half dollar along the top of the side cladding...all of which is normal at this age. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in good rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this E300 looks both inside and out. This car would easily pass for half the miles. I would also rate the interior of this E300 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show a few stains from age, which is hard to fault a 300k mile car for. There is a complete set of factory floor mats that come with the car. The dash and headliner are clean. The brown leather interior contrasts nicely against the black exterior. Throughout the interior, the wood veneers show very well which indicates that this Mercedes has most likely spent the majority of her life in a garage. The leather seats are clean and comfortable. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work properly. The power sunroof does not work. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It is a little cold to tell for sure but I believe the air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not seem to be blowing cold enough air. The audio system is original and appears to be working properly. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Mercedes-Benz. Mechanically, this E300 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The naturally aspirated diesel engine is incredibly simple and ridiculously reliable. I believe there may be an issue with the glow plugs...because she's a little hard to cold start. I just threw a can of starting fluid in the car for mornings...a little squirt in the intake and she fires right up. Once she's warm, she'll turn right over. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine doesn't smoke excessively. Like every older diesel, I'm sure it smokes a little...but i can never see it in the mirror when I'm driving. The suspension feels good for an older car. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. Again...please, please, please keep in mind that this is a 300k mile car. It's bound to make a few noises and rattles. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts normally through all the gears. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. She cruises easily at 80mph...it just takes you a minute to get there, haha. If you're looking for a good running and driving late W124 diesel, this E300 deserves your seroius consideration. This Mercedes E300 is being relisted thanks to a bidder in California who apparently didn't realize that shipping a car across the entire country would be a little expensive. Let's try this again...
Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions BEFORE placing a bid or asking questions as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1995 Mercedes Benz E300 Diesel. This car needs no introduction as these cars are probably among the longest lasting and best built cars on the planet...and this example is no exception. I would rate the exterior of this E300 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. Please keep in mind that this is a 20 year old car with mileage in excess of 300k. As you can see, the exterior shows very well. The classic black and gray exterior suits this car well. The black finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older car, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific example, there are the usual stone chips on the nose and a few spots of corrosion visible on the body. All I noticed was around the antenna, one door handle and two or three little spots about the size of a half dollar along the top of the side cladding...all of which is normal at this age. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in good rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this E300 looks both inside and out. This car would easily pass for half the miles.
I would also rate the interior of this E300 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show a few stains from age, which is hard to fault a 300k mile car for. There is a complete set of factory floor mats that come with the car. The dash and headliner are clean. The brown leather interior contrasts nicely against the black exterior. Throughout the interior, the wood veneers show very well which indicates that this Mercedes has most likely spent the majority of her life in a garage. The leather seats are clean and comfortable. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work properly. The power sunroof does not work. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It is a little cold to tell for sure but I believe the air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not seem to be blowing cold enough air. The audio system is original and appears to be working properly. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Mercedes-Benz.
Mechanically, this E300 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The naturally aspirated diesel engine is incredibly simple and ridiculously reliable. I believe there may be an issue with the glow plugs...because she's a little hard to cold start. I just threw a can of starting fluid in the car for mornings...a little squirt in the intake and she fires right up. Once she's warm, she'll turn right over. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine doesn't smoke excessively. Like every older diesel, I'm sure it smokes a little...but i can never see it in the mirror when I'm driving. The suspension feels good for an older car. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. Again...please, please, please keep in mind that this is a 300k mile car. It's bound to make a few noises and rattles. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts normally through all the gears. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. She cruises easily at 80mph...it just takes you a minute to get there, haha. If you're looking for a good running and driving late W124 diesel, this E300 deserves your seroius consideration. Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
