Vehicle Detail

0 0 1 399 2279 18 5 2673 14.0 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE This is a 1971 Honda CB350. It has roughly 6,500 miles and a clean and clear Michigan title in my name. This bike is an original survivor that has been well taken care of. It has a few new parts that were required to get it back on the road since it appeared that that last time it was plated was 1978. Overall this bike is a 8 or 9 out of 10. It is pretty flawless for being a 1971, a true survivor. Everything that was replaced was replaced with either NOS parts or identical reproductions of what came stock on the bike. Bike starts right up with one or two kicks or the electric starter. I have put maybe 15 miles on it since I got it up and running again and it functions well. Runs well, drives nicely with the new tires, shifts smoothly, clutch functions well. I am only selling because I have way too many motorcycles and literally no room to keep them. Details… All electrical functions as intended. Seat is perfect. Comes with original Owner’s manual and copy of printed shop manual. Paint is almost perfect with only a few imperfections. The tank has just a few tiny pits, otherwise the cleanest original tank I have ever seen from an early bike. The side covers were stored inside of a box and are absolutely flawless. Most of the chrome is only slightly pitted, well above the standard for what's typical of a 70's bike. Looks to be aftermarket exhaust, not bad but does not seem to be original. Mufflers are not rusted at all though. Comes with original mirrors in great condition (not pictured).Comes with original complete tool kit. The handlebars seem slightly tweaked, they do not even need to be replaced but seem just a little bent, easily replaced or leave as is, they function fine, just pointing out just about the only flaw in the motorcycle other than little flaws consistent with the bike’s age. Replaced parts… Tires (repops of stock tires for the CB) Tubes Relined tank w caswell epoxy Rebuilt carbs Gas cap latch (these are always broken on these early Honda’s) New petcock Fuel lines/filters Battery Spark plugs Oil Comes with a new points kit that I have yet to install, not needed as the bike runs, but couldn’t hurt either. Overall a great surviving bike, come take a look at it if you are in Chicago before the auction is over. Feel free to give me a call/send an email to discuss anything about the bike. I would like the winner to come get the bike within a week of purchasing it, but will work with the buyer to schedule a convenient pick up time. Additionally I can help deliver if needed as I have a pickup truck, we will need to discuss details of this however, so please check with me beforehand. I would be willing to deliver within an hour radius for free, but anything additional we must talk beforehand, but I am flexible and accommodating.Additionally, I am open to help with shipping, but the cost is entirely on the buyer. I will do whatever work is necessary to crate it or get it to some shipping depot, but let's please discuss the shipping prior to the end of the auction if needed. $200 non-refundable deposit required upon auction close, remainder of payment cash or money order/cashier's check due upon pick up of motorcycle Please ask any and all questions before bidding. Thank you…
