One Year Superstar: The 1983 Honda CB1100F Built for just one year, the Honda CB1100F is a sleek looking standard that evolved from the CB900F. In the process, it had tremendous performance – in January of ’83, Cycle World said it was the fastest stock bike they’ve ever tested. The four cylinder engine produced 108 horsepower, good for a top speed of 139 miles per hour. My bike as been restored recently. As you can see in the pictures the bike looks new. The bike starts and runs great. There is a chip in the tank top edge as seen in the picture, it's hard to find fault with this bike. The bike was a low mileage original (5,800 miles) that had been neglected for a long period of time. The engine sounds great, nice and tight. The instrument cluster was replaced with a NOS unit. I painted my 2013 Honda CB1100 to look like my 1983; 30 years later the 1983 CB1100F is still a great looking bike.
