1999 Red SAAB Scania Turbo 9-5 4 Door Sedan 118,000mi AS IS for parts or repair. When new, this was a high end car, with lots of extras, fully loaded and FUN to drive. With some work on your part it could be that again! At the top of the list: This car lost its key, which was burned up in a kitchen fire 7-8 years ago. The car has sat since then. At its last service it was advised that the car needed new direct ignition cassettes and a new turbo which was leaking. These repairs were not made, and the car was not driven after. A Geico insurance adjuster visiting another car on another matter told us that the body of the SAAB is in A-1 condition. That was in 2014, and is still true. The car cannot be started or driven until a new key is purchased. Not being a mechanic I do not know but assume that there may be other consumable parts which need to be replaced just from having sat so long. Delivery is free local pick-up. The car will have to be towed from the steep driveway where it is sitting in Knoxville, MD with a small tow-truck because the rollback would not have enough room to trun around in the driveway.Payment is a $200 deposit within 48 hours by PayPal.
