1966 AMC MARLIN I am not the original owner, so some of this info was passed down. The original color was Canary Yellow, it had been in a small fender bender and the hood and a fender are off another Marlin hence a different color paint job in black. It was a good repair job. The engine is original, but parts may have been changed out. The exhaust was new back in 2005/2006. The interior had been redone but could use a thorough cleaning. And some areas like ceiling just need to be redone as well as binding in parts of the bench seats. It has mildew like issues from just sitting. All gauges work and the climate controls seem to function just as they should. Interior light works great. Very cool looking. After market horn installed. Runs great. V8 287. Paint is faded and there are rust spots where paint has chipped. Limited rust underneath. Windshield wipers need replaced and vacuums adjusted. There is a small exhaust leak at the manifold. It is very small but does make it a tad bit louder. Could be fixed with the smarts. All emblems in tact. The hub caps are not original but off a pontiac. Brand new battery. The mileage is unknown, the gauge does work. It only goes to 99,999 so it is back to 26,000ish. I'm assuming it has flipped at least once! . All around this is a great car. It starts right up and drives great... It needs a little attention to get back in show shape but it is super rare and gets attention non-stop! A great conversation piece and super fun to drive.
