The car is currently not operational and has been parked for several weeks. - We're told it needs an ECM and new motor mounts. - The car is in Boca Raton, FL. - My dad was the original owner however, he sold it to carmax last year then changed his mind and bought it back. The title search still shows one owner. - The car has been mostly serviced by a local Boca Raton Cadillac dealer over the years until most recently. - Recent repairs were done by an independent mechanic (repairs made after he bought the car back from CarMax). Update 1: I found the original window sticker and added some of key features to the listing plus I uploaded an image of it for you to view in detail. Update 2a: Here are more details on the issues along with things that have been repaired. - Recent Repairs (over $2,500 worth of repairs since August 2015): - Oil leak – Valve Cover Gasket Replaced - Coolant leak - Heater Control Valve was repaired - Rear wheel bearings and hubs - Brake master cylinder - Headlights cleaned up - Current Issues (items still needing repair): - Before the car had its current problem (where it doesn't start/run), it ran fine but while idling, vibrated the car more than normal. - We were told it needed a motor mount to stop the engine from shaking at idol but they recommended all 4 be replaced. - The current problem: Car will not start. - According to the local Cadillac dealer, it needs “a computer” - This was an over phone diagnostics - maybe it was done via onstar. Not sure. - Electric seat position control of the front passenger seat doesn't work and the driver's side is intermittent. - Even though a new battery was installed in October 2015, the car has been sitting for over a month, so I'm sure the new battery is now dead. - Needs right rear shock - they recommend replacing all 4. That's everything I can think of related to current conditions/issues. I just want to make sure all potential buyers are clear about the current issues. Of course, more work may be required. Any car this age is going to require ongoing work so it’s best purchased by a do-it-yourselfer. Note: The buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements. We will make sure the keys and title (and original window sticker) are ready at pickup.
