Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a well cared-for, one owner 2011 Triumph Tiger 800. This bike was purchased new by me in November 2011, and is in very good condition. The Tiger 800 is an excellent all-around motorcycle. I have used this bike for several 4000+ mile trips and it has performed very well, and has never given me any trouble at all. This bike includes quite a few extras, including a Corbin seat, Madstad windshield (20" Adventure, light gray), Oxford heated grips, 45 liter Givi top case, Triumph hand guards, Triumph center stand, quick-release Givi Monokey side-case racks (side cases NOT included), Tutoro automatic chain oiler, SW Motech handlebar riser, Hyperlites flashing brake lights, K&N air filter, and dual usb outlets mounted on handlebars. The stock seat and windshield also come with the bike. Also, a new battery was installed about a month ago. This motorcycle currently has 38,249 miles, although this may go up slightly since I still occasionally ride the bike. I've taken this bike on a few gravel roads, but the vast majority of these miles have been on pavement. At 31,000 miles, I installed a new DID Gold X-ring chain and new steel sprockets, replacing the stock 50-tooth rear sprocket with a 47-tooth for slightly higher gearing. The plastic label on the heated grip controller came off a couple years ago (see photo). The grips still work fine and the LEDs are easily seen, so I never saw much point in replacing the controller. Also included is a Triumph factory service manual and a set (2 pairs) of EBC HH front brake pads. While I did my own oil changes and other simple maintenance procedures, valve checks and other more complicated procedures were done by an authorized Triumph dealer. All service records are available. It has Michelin Anakee 3 tires front and rear, but the front needs replacement soon. The rear tire has maybe 2-3000 miles left. I'm selling this bike only because I bought a Triumph 1200 Explorer. If I had more room in my garage, I'd like to keep the 800. It's a really good motorcycle.
