It has not been restored or rebuilt. It still has the original factory tires on it. I purchased it 8 years ago from College Credit Union in Greeley Colorado as a collector. I have ridden it twice at which time everything was in working condition. I have never titled this motorcycle but have the original Colorado title with a release signature from College Credit Union. Included will be a copy of the original Colorado title from the previous owner, as well as a photocopy of the title from the owner before that. In preparation for long-term storage I took it to the local BMW shop and had Master BMW mechanic prepared it. (Detailed receipt for the service provided in Pictures) It was stored in a climate controlled garage. Also see (in Pictures) where it was appraised by Colorado BMW / Ducati for between $10,000 and $12,000 in 2005. For memorabilia I will include a Spring 2000 copy of the CBXpress. If you want a collector piece this CBX is already prepared. If you want to ride it will require a small amount of preparation. Condition: No fading on the instruments. When I took it out of storage I noticed that the front fork seals had leaked and a small leak around the rear master cylinder. Everything worked when put into storage. There is a small nick in the paint where the throttle cable has come into contact with paint. (See pictures) There are 4 scuffs to the clear coat on the right hand saddlebag. I tried to get them to show in the pictures. I do believe a detailer could remove these with out a problem. (See pictures) There is a scratch on the underside of the left muffler. (See pictures) Now the embarrassing part. I removed the windscreen to clean under it. And I am unable to reinstall it. I don’t think it would be a big deal for someone that is mechanically inclined, but I didn’t want to take anything else apart to try and fix it. I have all the nuts and bolts. The windscreen has a very light scratch in the upper left side. I believe in being 100% transparent in my transaction and have been on Ebay since 1999 with 100% positive feed back.
