Here you came across a very rare find . This is a 1984 Mercedes 300TD turbodiesel station wagon with only 98k original miles . It has only had 2 owners since new . ( the Carcheck will show 3 , but it is wrong , because it counts , when the second owner moved from Texas to AZ as another owner) .This 300TD was originally purchased by the original owner in San Antonio Texas in April of 1984 . She kept this car until October of 2000 when she sold it to a friend of her , who lived on the same street . This car was her baby and she always had it maintained very well . 2 years ago she moved from Texas to Arizona to retire and be closer to her daughter . The 300TD came with her , but she just does not drive it anymore . So here it is on Ebay .... This gorgeous wagon was finished in "light ivory" MB color code 623 with Palomino color MB-tex interior . The paint is mostly original and still in amazing condition, It shines like on a much newer car and i do get compliments on it all the time . There are no real dents or scratches on it and it still looks very elegant . The chrome is in very nice shape as well . The interior is stunning especially for a 32 year old car and you can tell , that it has mostly been garaged . The original dashboard is perfect , the carpets are clean and there are no rips or tears in the seats . The MB-tex interior does hold up very well . Even the interior wood panels are still gorgeous . No cracks there either . I did upload many extra pictures and they can describe the car better than i can , but let me assure you , it looks very nice . If you properly keep maintaining this kind of car it can literally last you a lifetime . There are constantly cars like this on Ebay with over 500k miles and still running well . This 300TD was only driven 98k miles and always maintained properly . Just over the last 4 weeks it has been fully serviced , the shocks for the rear gate have been replaced and the AC has been converted to the newer style freon . It works perfectly and blows ice cold. This car has plenty of power and is not slow at all . I drove it from Phoenix to Los Angeles and was constantly cruising with 85-90 miles per hour ( while still averaging 26 MPG of diesel) . It runs terrific on the freeway and is also fun to drive in town . The Firestone tires have less than 2000 miles on them . I could not think of anything this car needs mechanically at this point . It is ready to drive to the east coast and back . They just do not make em like this anymore and with such low miles it should only go up in value from here . I would prefer to sell this car locally to somebody who could actually come by and see it/ appreciate it .
