Vehicle Detail
The car is completely rust free and has a Montana title in my name. The buildsheet and receipts from the work I’ve done over the last 4.5 years are included. Under the hood is a Blueprint crate 408 that dyno’d at 386 HP/460 TQ. It has an Edelbrock 700 CFM carb, Mopar-branded MSD 6 AL ignition box, and spendy nickel-plated TTI headers with Magnaflow mufflers. It runs hard and sounds excellent! The transmission is a Torqueflite 904 auto with a TCI street and strip rebuild and TCI 2800 RPM stall converter. The driveshaft is from Denny's driveshaft and is high speed balanced. The rear differential is a Chrysler 8 ¾" with a brand new 489 pumpkin with 3.55 gears & Eaton Tru-Trac posi. It also has Moser axles and B-body brake drums. The front suspension was rebuilt using Polygraphite bushings, and the brakes were upgraded to ’73 power disks. The wheels are 5X4.5 pattern 14” Rallye’s with Cooper Cobra 245-60 tires, not those seen in some of the pictures. As for the interior, it was converted from a column auto to a console shift using a factory-correct steering column, console and floor shifter parts. The bench seat was swapped for a complete interior from a ’68 Dart GT, which included the bucket seats and door panels with GT emblems. The headliner and carpet are also both new. Includes new floor mats with “Dart” embroidery. I installed a brand new wood rim Tuff Wheel and turn signal switch mechanism. The dash panel is not cut up or molested in any way, nor is the wiring. The AM radio still works! The only thing needed to make the interior perfect is a $100 dash cap. The speedometer does not work, but I just judged speed based on the 5” Autometer tachometer that’s included. It has oil pressure and water temp gauges from Summit. The trunk mat is new. The exterior is what I’d call a “10 footer”. The original red was repainted in yellow by a previous owner and is passable. The engine compartment was repainted a 1997 Dodge Moss Green prior to the new engine being installed and the car would look really sharp once the body is painted to match. The driver’s side front fender does have a repair about half way down its length and there is a bit of a wave in the quarter panel near the gas cap. Again, no rust though! The hood is obviously painted flat black. For an additional price, I also have most of the parts to convert over to a 4 speed. The parts include a ’75 OD A-833, pedal assembly, NOS aluminum bellhousing, flywheel, Z-bar, transmission hump, shifter, new shifter linkage, new shifter boot, and a new 4speed console top. The new carpet that’s in the car is the 4 speed version, but you can’t tell because it tucks under the console. I have decided to sell this classic to downsize and focus on other projects. Please ask any questions you might have now! If you win the auction, pay for the car, and come to pick it up and find that my description was not accurate, then I will refund your money (minus PayPal/Ebay fees). However, if you win it, pay for it and don't have it inspected before it is picked up by the shipper......the deal is final! There is no warranty expressed or implied. This is an as-is sale! Please be responsible about your bids. Don’t bid if you don’t intend to complete the purchase! Please be respectful and professional in our dealings, and I assure you that I will be the same! I have disclosed all known flaws and will gladly provide photos of all known defects for your inspection. After the sale, I can store the car indoors for up to 30 days for free, but after that $100 per month storage will be due. Buyer needs to get insurance as soon as car is paid for as I will cancel mine at that time. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 3 days of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours I reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995, so make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding. Payment is by bank wire only. Transport is readily available and probably cheaper than fixing major rot on a Midwest or East Coast tetanus car. While the car runs great, it's probably not a good plan to fly in and drive it home since it's an old car, and stuff happens. Cell service is poor in Montana and it's a long way between towns. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. I will assist the shipper with pickup at my location. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, I recommend Certified Auto Shippers http://www.certifiedautoshippers.com, ask for Kathy Gant. If you are not sure about something, please ask! Do not assume anything not listed is included. I reserve the right to refuse bids with excessive negative feedback. I reserve the right to end the listing if the vehicle is no longer available for sale. Please do not bid on this auction unless you are serious about owning this vehicle. All non-paying high bidders will be reported to eBay and negative feedback will be posted. PLEASE ONLY BID WHAT YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY. IF THE RESERVE IS NOT MET, I MAY CONTACT THE HIGH BIDDER TO OFFER THE SECOND CHANCE OPTION.
