ATTENTION COLLECTORS!! Up for auction is a 1993 CR250R with less than 25 original hours! This bike has NOT been restored. With the exception of a new air filter and chain, it has every piece of original hardware that came with it off the showroom in 1993 (bars, grips, brake pads, plastics, handlebars, levers, tires, nuts and bolts, everything!) There is NOT a single rip in the grips, bend in the bars, frame/subframe are straight as an arrow, rims and radiators are like new. As you can see in the pictures, this bike is in outstanding condition and you will not find an original 93 in this condition again. The bike starts right up and runs like the day it came off the showroom. The tires are 23 year old originals, so there is a little dry rot. There are a few small scuffs in the plastics and seat cover (see pictures), but the shrouds are still like new. In order retain the originality of the bike, I did not replace the plastics or seat cover, but they can still be purchased online if desired. I am the second owner of the bike. This bike was originally owned by a farmer and has not seen a track. The 1993 CR250 won Motocross Action Magazine’s coveted 250cc bike of the year award. To this day, the ’93 CR is considered by many to be the pinnacle of Honda 250 two-stroke handling. It was so good in fact, that Jeremy McGrath continued to use a ’93 chassis on his works Honda’s every year until his switch to Suzuki in ’97. The ’93 CR could be considered the winningest machine ever built. Please do not bid if you do not intend to buy and feel free to ask any and all questions.
