1999 Toyota Rav 4 (all wheel drive) priced to sell. Heat/air conditioning work. NO check engine lights and NO pending codes (NO the codes were not cleared like many shady sellers). I drove this car about 75 miles to test and check it out before selling. I own a small automotive shop. I've become jam packed with work even working weekends and don't have time for it. Comes with a new full size spare tire. Rear tires have lots of life, front tires are just at the wear indicator mark meaning they still have tread. Rear brake shoes looked good. The front brake pads looked good. The car was driven this year, but is currently unregistered. Can be driven home with transport plates from the DMV ($12.50). The rear ball bearings feel good. Power steering feels good. Power locks, power windows, power mirrors that all work. The speakers sound good (NOT static like some cars). The things I found are:Needs an $9 seal for the axle (slow leak). (Photo with my finger) (Autozone carries them)Needs a $14 rear control arm bushing. Squeaks when going over a bump. (part number# 4872542011)Needs a abs sensor cleaned or replaced. Low speed antilock brake activation; The brakes can be used in ABS-free mode to stop this until it gets fixed. I see a rip in the front seat. I'm being honest and up front about this car. I have purchased many cars only to find the seller hide serious known problems.
