Vehicle Detail
This TURBO 5 Speed Z is impeccable. You will not find another like it in the northeast...maybe the pacific northwest, but even then only maybe. This car has been in the family since 1990 and it has been garage kept its entire life. The car is all original, and show worthy (original air filter and radio also included). The following parts have been replaced within the last few summers:Period correct white letter tires, Front shocks,Hydraulic clutch cylinders,Rear calipers, pads, rotors,K&N air filter (original box also included)BatteryWe did put new carpet in maybe 5 years ago, but that also looks brand new because we put maybe 200 miles a year on the car. If you're looking at this, you already know it was a top of the line sports car in 1984. Power window, power door locks, power mirrors, power antenna, cruise control, boost gauge, tachometer, etc. This was owned by an old man (my grandfather) who was too old to beat the snot out of it, and a young boy (me) who took great care of it to honor his grandfather. The result is a 32 year old sports car that is unmolested, all original, and well cared for. This has never been raced (other than the occasional fun from stoplight to stoplight)This car has NEVER seen a salted northeast road. Full Disclaimer, there is some surface rust near the bottom of the hatch gasket, and the drivers side door sill...both very minor, and should be expected for a vehicle of this age, made from Japanese steel, even when cared for. There are two types of 1984 Z cars out there. The ones that have sat outside for far too long and are quickly returning to dirt, and the ones that have been garage kept and look like they are from the mid 2000's. This vehicle is the latter. You will not be disappointed. I'm moving to a new home and will no longer be able to store this car the way it deserves to be stored. It currently has antique Pennsylvania plates, and Hagerty insurance has it valued at $10,000. Vehicle will be stored, and must be picked up from at my fathers house in Swiftwater Pennsylvania 18730.
