Up for sale is my 2009 BMW R1200GS Adventure Magma Red touring motorcycle. If you are looking at this bike you probably already know the superb capability it has both on and off-road. I am the second owner of this bike. It was purchased from Max BMW in Troy NY three years ago with approximately 17000 miles. The bike in in excellent condition both mechanically and cosmetically. The auction includes the panniers, top box, the BMW tank bag, and PIAA fog lights. The ZUMO 500 shown in the photos is not included in the auction but is potentially available for separate sale to the successful bidder. The bike has a brand new final drive assembly which was found to be faulty during an inspection last fall. The work was completed by Max BMW. The bike has Michelin Tourance tires front and back that were just replaced (less than 200 miles on the new tires). I have never had the bike off road and it has never been down. Reason for sale: 2 in college next year I do have a lien on the bike that can be released at the time of final payment and transfer.Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping. I will assist any way possible with shipping or airport transfer. In response to a couple of potential bidder's questions. It has ABS and ESA. The ESA allows you to switch between different suspension modes while riding (sport, comfort, and normal). The dash console, which I believe they call a computer, can switch between time, distance to empty, temperature, and average fuel mileage. The heated grips have two different levels and there are also 3 "BMW" style auxiliary plugs (2 on the dash and one under the seat) that can be used for things like phone chargers or heated clothing. The PIAA fog lights are also an aftermarket accessory. Replaced it with a brand new battery. The new battery has a full warranty for 90 days and a pro-rated one for a year.
