Here is my 1946 Chevy pickup truck. The truck has had a complete restoration from one end to the other. The truck has been completely striped down, cleaned and restored starting with the frame rails. The original front end was removed and a Heidts Mustang 2 Independent front suspension with tubular A arms was installed. This change got all new brakes, with 11" rotors with big bore calipers, suspension and steering parts. The rear axle was then replaced with a posi track, disk brake ford 8.8" axle 325 ratio with new seals and brake parts to make it new again. Next a Chevy 6.0l engine was installed with a 4l60e automatic transmission was fitted under the hood. The engine is running on a street rod electrical wiring harness with uses a altered computer to do away with non need circuits and has the Aldl connector and uses a check engine warning light. The body is all original to the truck with only the front bed panel and the tailgate being replaced. The original body only had 3 rusty spots where the fender met the running boards and small pin holes on the drivers side door with was replaced with new metal. The body was a good solid truck and is not a bondo bucket. The truck was sprayed with a european pro spray red clear coat paint. The interior was painted a Charcoal gray to trim it out. The seat was recovered and new Auto Meter gauges was installed along with a Vintage Air under dash heat, defrost and air condition. The Chrome grilles was rechromed and new bumpers was installed at this time. It is ridding on new 225/235- Hankook tires with Cragar SS 15x6 wheels. The truck is located in Waldron Arkansas.
