I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire descrption as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis Diamond Edition with just 130k miles. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Marquis to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a gorgeous sedan. It is finished in white with a blue half carriage top and matching blue leather interior. The white finish has a deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the exterior trim is present and shows well. The factory chrome wheel covers show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. The cloth top shows very well and indicates that this Grand Marquis has most likely spent its life in a garage. Pride in ownership shows throughout this sedan. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how well kept this Grand Marquis looks. I would also rate the interior of this Grand Marquis to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door panels are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the cabin. All of the wood trim is intact and shows well. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all appear to be working properly. The leather seats also show well and are comfortable. The only wear visible on the seats is a torn seam on the drivers seat back. Both front seats are embroidered with the "Diamond Edition" logo, which matches the top. The audio system is original and appears to be working properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater does a good job on cool mornings and the air conditioner keeps the interior comfortable throughout the daytime. The trunk is spacious and clean. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this Grand Marquis. Mechanically, this Mercury appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.6L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine doesn't smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels as tight as a drum. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. She makes plenty of power and feels strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. She has a current PA safety inspection good through the end of October, 2016. If you've been looking for an exceptional sedan, this Grand Marquis Diamond Edition deserves your consideration. These cars are remarkably reliable, comfortable and get very impressive fuel economy. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire descrption as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis Diamond Edition with just 130k miles. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Marquis to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a gorgeous sedan. It is finished in white with a blue half carriage top and matching blue leather interior. The white finish has a deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the exterior trim is present and shows well. The factory chrome wheel covers show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. The cloth top shows very well and indicates that this Grand Marquis has most likely spent its life in a garage. Pride in ownership shows throughout this sedan. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how well kept this Grand Marquis looks.
I would also rate the interior of this Grand Marquis to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door panels are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the cabin. All of the wood trim is intact and shows well. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all appear to be working properly. The leather seats also show well and are comfortable. The only wear visible on the seats is a torn seam on the drivers seat back. Both front seats are embroidered with the "Diamond Edition" logo, which matches the top. The audio system is original and appears to be working properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater does a good job on cool mornings and the air conditioner keeps the interior comfortable throughout the daytime. The trunk is spacious and clean. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this Grand Marquis.
Mechanically, this Mercury appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.6L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine doesn't smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels as tight as a drum. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. She makes plenty of power and feels strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. She has a current PA safety inspection good through the end of October, 2016. If you've been looking for an exceptional sedan, this Grand Marquis Diamond Edition deserves your consideration. Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
