This is an original unrestored 1956 Bel Air located in Fruitvale Texas, approximately 60 miles East of Dallas. I have owned this car for 16 years and have carefully maintained it. The Sierra Gold / Abobe Beige paint has been touched up over the years but is still glossy and very presentable. The interior is in excellent condition with new door panels and upholstery. The original radio has been replaced with a Custom Autosound AM/FM unit. Oil/temp/amp gauges have been added. The original 6 cylinder engine has been replaced with a professionally rebuilt 327 with Power Pack (double hump) heads. To maintain the original look we retained the generator / power steering unit along with an oil bath air cleaner and correct period valve covers. The Power Glide transmission works well if you manually move the shift lever from low to drive.
