Vehicle Detail
I am reluctantly placing my completely restored custom cafe 1980 Honda CB650 4 cylinder motorcycle on e-bay for auction. The engine is still a stock 650 cc bore for reliability but that's about the only thing that is still stock. The engine has low mileage (less than 6,000 miles) and was cleaned/painted and detailed to the max. The engine covers have been polished and drilled. A new factory set of CR-29 carbs with polished velocity stacks was installed. The exhaust flows through ceramic coated headers and polished stainless steel Cone Engineering mufflers (the header cooling fins have been brass plated). When you twist the throttle the sound is magical....my buddy calls it a mechanical symphony. The frame has been modified to accommodate the cafe seat (29.5" seat height) and new electronics, all black parts have been sandblasted and powder coated black, the tank and rear cowl are flawlessly painted onyx black with gold pinstriping, and there are numerous brass plates and brass plated pieces adoring the bike. The aluminum shouldered rims are black powder coated with polished hubs laced with stainless steel spokes, brass plated nipples, and Avon RoadRider tired mounted on 19" front and 17" rear wheels. Noteworthy upgrades: - Progressive front and rear shocks - all new wheel and steering head bearings - lithium Gravity battery - LED turn signals and brake light - Tarazzi adjustable clip-ons (brass plated) It pains me to even think about selling it but I need the funds for home repairs. Please take the time to look at the many photos and attached article by The Bike Shed (which was also presented on Bike EXIF ( http://thebikeshed.cc/2013/08/13/magneto/#comment-34880).Also feel free to ask any questions you might have. Please note that this is a no return, no warranty sale as it is a perfectly running motorcycle.Shipping is the sole responsibility of the winning bidder. I am willing to assist the transporter of your choice. A no refund deposit of $500 is due at the end of the auction with the balance due within 7 days by verifiable bank check or cash in person.Clear title in hand. Thanks for your time and good luck bidding. Please note: I am also listing this motorcycle for sale locally and reserve the right to cancel this action at any time for any reason.
