1986 Chevrolet Silverado C-10 Pickup. Red with burgundy interior. Incredibly well preserved. This is a southern California vehicle. Engine is a 350 four bolt main. The engine build was by GEMS. It has an all forged and balanced rotating assembly. It has a lunatic hydraulic roller cam;aluminum 72 cc heads, and probe flat top pistons. The engine is bored .030 oversize. The crank is new forged GM. Rods are std. mains are std. Weiand intake manifold Rochester quadrajet carburetor. Headman hedders powermaster ultra torque starter. All other parts in the engine are new high shelf parts. Transmission is a remanufactured 400-R4 Good for 400+;H.P. with hughes approved flex plate. All original sheet metal, no patches, no rust, no bondo; and flawless chrome and bright trim. Paint has some chips. Two fuel tanks. P/B;P/S A/C; & tilt steering wheel, A/M F/M radio. All gauges work including the clock. Headliner and bench seat in very good condition. Dash hasn't any cracks or splits. The front has 2 1/2" dropped spindels. New gas shocks, new ceramic brake pads and grease seals. Rear has been dropped 2 inches. The rear is a twelve bolt GM with 3.08 gears with new oil seals, new gas shocks, and new brake shoes. Wood in the bed is near new. U joints front and rear have been replaced. All glass is chip and crack free. Weather stripping is in very good condition. So forget the slab sides get yourself a stepside. All you have to do is buy it, put license and insurance on it, and if you are in a smog free county, you are cruising the drag. If you are not in a smog free county, it will need a few things to bring it up to code. A passing note, I have all the smog parts that came with this vehicle when I bought it. I don't know if it is complete or not, I live in a smog free county so it wasn't a problem.
