1966 Triumph Bonneville

good running, one owner, numbers matching,1966 Bonneville, original California black plate. Listing this for a family friend who got this bike new as a high school graduation present. The family is cleaning out their garage and asked me to help them sell it. The bike was last registered in 1980, and had been sitting since then, I had a friend rebuild the carbs, then I put on new fuel lines, petcocks, a battery and fluids and it fired right up, compression in both cylinders is right at 100lbs. I've rode it around the neighborhood and it runs great. it'll still need a little work before being truly roadworthy, the lights don't work, the tires are 50 years old and are cracked, there's a small exhaust leak, and it needs current tags ( title is clear). John, the original owner swapped out the handlebars for some narrower ones, rotated the front fender back and removed the speedometer, I don't know a ton about triumphs so there may be some other non "stock" changes/ upgrades, please look at the pictures and judge for yourself before bidding. Shipping is up to the buyer, but I do have a friend that hauls cars/bikes for a living that I can get a quote from. For international buyers I can get it up to the long beach shipping port area for $150
