I bought this last summer and drove it back from South Carolina even with a broke transfur case and a death wobble it ran strong and seamed like a good project. I will be as stright up as i can, un like the guy i got it from. I have Put a lot of effort into to it but ever since our last place caught on fire my life is changed in a whole different direction and I really just don't have time for it anymore. Hear the things that I've done to it and what is going to need. Motor runs strong. I have done the things below since last summer with all new parts. Air filter, plugs, wires, distributor cap and button, top and bottom hoses, battery, Terminals, shocks front stabilizing bar, stabilizing shock, 2 ujoints 4 rims, 4 tires, 2 bucket seats, 2 seat belts, mirrors headlights windshield wipers and of course a new transfer case($700 right there), fuel pump. If you add it up its like your getting a free jeep, just by the parts. What I know wrong. I put a new Cluch fan in I thought it was squawking but it looks like its the idler bearing Ecm is getting a delay before it will start. It was next on the list. Orallys 250 or they will repair then on eBay for less then 100 The gas gauge works but is off because the tanks got dents. I cut a trap right above the fuel pump to Access it when I changed it. No Back Brake! I snaggle the line when I took the jeep out to Urwarra National Forest to test the transfer case. line got snagged right at the beginning and we finish the whole day going through those trails with just the fronts. No emergency brakes see above No 5th gear. I read it was common, I don't know because it was like that when I got it. The Front differential is welded. not a problem per say I just wanted you to be aware I wasn't when I bought it but because it is, it pos locks the front when you put it in 4 wheel drive and it will climb through almost anything I think I coverd it all but any question just let me know. Cause no your not test driving it. The guy I got it from told me the person right before me test driving it is the one that broke the transfer case trying to switch it into 4 wheel drive coming up the driveway. Clear title, yes it runs and I still drive it every now and then. I'm moving soon and it has to find a new home.
