Vehicle Detail
I started to refurbish this barn find bug over 7 years ago. When I bought it, it had been sitting for 20 years or so. Its not a frame off restore. The paint is about 4 years old. Thats how long I took putting it all back together due to busy schedule. Its always been inside garage since Ive owned it. I have the title in hand. The interior is all new except for the headliner. Which is in good shape. All rubber seals are new on windows, doors , vent window, as well as trunk lid seal, hood seal, fender seals, engine compartment seal. New tires are fresh Royalton 560-15 3" while walls made in USA. New front wheel bearings, brakes all the way around, 2 new wheel brake cylinders 2 rebuilt. New shocks all the way around, tie rod ends (all), axle boots, rear wheel bearing seals . Fresh gear oil in transaxle. New muffler, pass. side heater box. New 12 volt conversion kit including alternator, coil and all lights. The wiper motor is also converted to 12v and works good with new wipers and electric w/s washer motor that works with original button. The radio is original 6v that works but not hooked up and no speaker. Decide to put in system if you like. Replaced rear passenger side floor pan. New battery. Replaced front clip due to previous body work. New front and rear bumpers , all new chrome trim, new tail light lenses, new front blinker assemblies, new hubcaps. Various rubber grommets here and there have been replaced along with various rubber wire harness seals. Any surface rust found on this car has been eradicated and repainted. It is a rust free car. The odometer reads 65221 I believe this to be the original miles since I know this car inside and out but I cannot prove it. The motor has had new rings and rebuilt heads installed and runs like a top. I've probably put on 200 miles since I finished it. Drive this car anywhere or just to the car shows. Its very depenable and turns alot of heads. I'm sure I'm forgetting to mention something. Please ask any questions about this car. The reserve is confidential at this time though, sorry. I am in no hurry to sell so if the reserve is not met I will be ok with that too. I really enjoy driving and showing this car. But I do have pending projects. On Mar-14-16 at 12:45:40 PDT, seller added the following information: The running boards are also new. The radio antenna and side mirror also are new. I have a stack of receipts about an inch thick all for this car. I also have a new passenger side vent window seal that I never got around to installing although it really doesn't need it, I did the drivers side. And I have the headliner in the box that I really wanted to have installed but never got around to it. The existing one doesn't have any rips or holes though. On Mar-17-16 at 18:14:44 PDT, seller added the following information: I had a question about the color of the car and I can only say that the color is very close to the original color. The interior is the same color as the exterior. Also there appears to be a gap between the top and bottom back seat. There is no gap really as in you cannot put your hand through it. I put an L shaped bracket of sorts where the top bolts on. The reason I did this was to make it easier to fold down and prevent damage to vinyl when removing or installing the bottom seat. It looks perfectly normal in person. And makes for easier access to battery. I added a photo to see where the back and bottom meet. Thanks for looking. On Mar-17-16 at 18:31:01 PDT, seller added the following information: After folding the back seat down and re-positioning it the carpet attached to the back of the seat finds its way in between the bottom and the back. That's what appears in the previous photos of the seat. I think a little Velcro would take care of it.On Mar-17-16 at 19:46:12 PDT, seller added the following information: Added one last photo of rear passenger side suspension. I have since installed heater hose which works fine. Maxed out on pics unable to add more ... thanks
