This is a one family owned 1983 glx convertible 5.0 mustang, was purchased originally by my uncle. It is actual mileage at 19500. The car has had not been changed from factory original. It is showing some fade and the tires are dry cracking. Windshield is cracked and dash is sun faded and cracked. under carriage is in excellent condition as is the motor and 5 speed tranny. This would be an optimal collector car for someone into that. I have put a new battery in and started and drove the car. Looks like the valve covers are leaking a bit and the master cylinder probably needs replaced or the lines bled out. exhaust system is in amazingly great shape and sounds good. Electrical system seems to function as it should. Interior lights and all electronics function. Carpeting looks excellent as well as most of the interior. This car isn't perfect but in the right hands could be quite a looker. I also have read that this car was fairly low production adding to its collector value. I will require buyer to pick up with trailer as it shouldn't be driven with the tires and brakes in current condition, however we can start it and move it. Feel free to ask questions.
