This is a mostly complete 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle that I took in a trade. I really don't know much about the car other than what can be seen in the pictures. The floor pan appears to be mostly solid with the exception of the passenger rear pan next to the tunnel (see picture) The exterior of the car is pretty solid there is some rust on the roof coming down by the rear window I included a picture of this area. The passenger door window is missing and the drivers outside door handle is either disconnected or broken. The handle and lock for the hood are supposed to be in the car but I haven't looked for it. The seats have covers over them but need recovered as they are in bad shape. The drivers door panel needs to be replaced as it is broken. There is no carpet in the car so you can see the floor pans. The motor does turn over by hand and the car rolls, but the tires are shot. It supposedly was running when parked in the barn. The car looks exactly as found I have not washed it or cleaned it in any way. I'm not a VW guy but I am pretty sure it's a Super Beetle as it has a strut front suspension. THERE IS NO TITLE FOR THIS CAR YOU WILL GET A BILL OF SALE ONLY. I do have some junk 15" tires that I can put on the car so it will be easier to transport if needed. They will not be the right size for the car but they hold air. This vehicle is for pickup only in Oxford Junction, Iowa 52323. The buyer is responsible for all costs associated with pickup or delivery of the car. I am willing to deliver the car within 1000 miles of 52323 with mileage to be determined by mapquest for 1.00 per loaded mile from 52323. There is a 100.00 deposit due through PayPal within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The balance is due in cash within 7 days. If delivery is needed than the full purchase price plus the delivery fee is to be paid in full before delivery. I can store the car for a period if it is paid for in full.
