The Chrysler Crossfire is a rear-wheel drive, 2-door sports car sold by Chrysler and built by Karmann of Germany for model years 2004-2008.Developed during the union of Daimler and Chrysler, the two-seater is based on the R170 platform and shares 80% of its components with the R170 Mercedes-Benz SLK320. The Mercedes-Benz SLK320 was built on a new R171 platform starting in the 2005 model year. The R170 platform was essentially handed down to Chrysler for use in building the Crossfire. I have a auto repair center, this vehicle belongs to one of my customers, They had a minor fender bender in which I have repaired the damage, I am a certified I-car autobody shop. I have drove the car about 500 miles and it is a very awesome vehicle, I am 6'4" and it takes me some doing to get in and out of the car as it is made for a less in height person than me in size. Overall my observation of the car is it exceptionally low in miles at 32000 miles, everything seems to work as it should I do not see any leaks on the shop floor as it is parked in the shop overnight. It runs and drives out great, the interior is not tore up however the headliner on the passenger side is starting to drop, tires are all real good, the car is completely stock as the factory made it with no modifications, it is a turn key worry free kind of vehicle that will make you a great car for years to come. My customer is an adult driver of this vehicle and if you like these Crossfires then this is a must own vehicle for you with only 32,000 miles on it for an 11 year old car.
