Vehicle Detail
Relisting due to a deadbeat winner. Moving from california to the east coast and selling my 2000 BMW M5, VIN # WBSDE9341YBZ94575, 400 Hp, 6 speed manual, fully loaded, very desirable silver/ Black leather, sport package with extended leather package including hand stitched dashboard and Alcantera suede roof liner. Clean California Title with no rust at all. Adult owned and never been raced, up to date maintenance including overhauled VANOS systems (last 20k miles) and replaced clutch, flexdisk, rear-main seal, thermostat(within last 10k miles). Runs and drives well with no malfunctions, paint is in a very decent shape for the mileage. Just had the emissions completed and passed without issue. Mom borrowed car recently, and ran over a curb so had a new bumper professionally installed. Has some flaws that could be painted with a very small amount of work, but generally looks very sharp. Still a head turner with lots of life left. Otherwise this car is a beast, had a dinan stage 0 tune added to it and it's pure joy. There is a minor accident on the carfax/autocheck in 2013 listed as a side-swipe. When I purchased the vehicle I had it checked out by a shop that specializes in BMWs and has worked on many M5s. When the mechanic put the car on a lift walked through the list of things that needed to be fixed and what he flagged was:- The clutch was slipping and needed to be replaced (new clutch, flywheel, slave sylinder, rear main seal, ...)- The rear view mirror was starting to bubble and needed to be replaced (bought a new mirror)- The flex disk was going out and needed to be fixed (bought and installed a new flexplate when clutch was replaced)- There was a slight coolant leak that needed to be fixed, coming from a clamp issue around the radiator (replaced thermostat and fixed coolant leak) I fixed all of the above with brand new materials, and did this all as soon as I bought it. Since then the car has driven very well. It does squeak a bit with bumps, which I chalked up to suspension bushings that need replacement, though the mechanic didn't mention anything about it. The car drives very well and is solid. I've bought both the carfax and the autocheck reports on the car so feel free to send me your email and I'll send it through if you'd like them Please email me and I'll be happy to answer any questions. Locals are welcome to inspect the car, let me know and I'll setup time for viewing it. Due to the no reserve auction format and the need for a sale because of an upcoming move, the car is being sold as is. Ask questions before you bid and come check out the car before you buy. Thanks for looking!
