Vehicle Detail
This listing is for a 1963 Corvette Roadster project. Car was originally ermine white with a red interior. The vehicle's body is currently in primer and requires minimal prep before final blocking and paint. The vent windows are included as well as the door glass and windshield, headlight buckets, rear deck lid, and rear valence panel and a 1963 Corvette hood. The rolling frame has been sandblasted and painted and includes all suspension and steering components as well as the stock rear end and four clean rally wheels and tires. A new fuel line has been mounted and the frame is set up for disc brakes with brake calipers all the way around. The car has a steering column and a dash that will be included with the sale as well. I have started this listing at $12,500.00. Rough cowl back mid year bodies with clean titles are easily going for more than $8000 these days. Straight clean bare frames are hard to find under $2000 and rolling frames ready to go bring twice that much. So my starting price is low! When you consider all the time and labor it would take to get a rough project as far along and complete as this one. Car is being SOLD as a project, as is. I have included a photo of a completed 1963 Ermine White Corvette to only show interested buyers a view of what this car could look like once finished. Please feel free to contact me with questions at 330-931-2983, my name is Mike. IF bidding exceeds $14,500.00 I will include a complete set of straight bumpers and two seat frames, an iron Borg Warner 4speed transimission that has been serviced and a bare dated late 1962 Chevrolet 327 block that is fresh from the machine shop and ready for a build. That and you can have your choice of a 1967 427 Stinger hood or the 1963 Hood as seen in the photos. If the winning bidder wants a fuel tank and brake lines installed or the final minimal body work completed that can also be arranged at an additional cost prior to pick up. I had purchased this as a complete car, with a full interior with seats, complete dash with gauges and glovebox, convertible top and all exterior trim and bumpers. While the car was away at the restoration shop, I personally suffered a garage fire and lost all the interior parts and convertible top that I had stored locally. My personal property insurance wouldn't cover the car parts and my car insurance wouldn't cover them since they weren't on the car. I am now focusing on a 1963 Corvette Retro Rod project and have decided to sell this car to complete the other. Too many projects so my loss is your gain. Restore as original or buy a solid project for your own retro rod dream. I can assist in the storage and shipping of this vehicle as well with the buyer at no additional cost.
