Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 1970 Camaro RS. Motor is a 454 with Holley 4 bbl, Holley Street Dominator Intake, Headers (rusty, brand unknown) Camshaft (brand unknown) MSD 6 Ignition Box, and MSD Billet Aluminum Distributor. Don't know what internal motor mods may be done as the prior owner knew nothing. Runs extremely strong though. Transmission is a Muncie 4 Speed (either M20 or M21, not sure) with a new Hurst Competition Shifter, shift lever, and shift rods. Rear End is a 12 bolt POSI with 3:73 gears. Dual Exhaust with X pipe and Flowmaster Mufflers. Wheels are brand new American Racing Torque Thrust II's with chrome center and polished lip. 17x8 in front, 18x9.5 in rear. Tires are brand new BFG Sport Comp 2's. 235/45 in front, 275/40 in rear. Power Steering, Manual Disc Brakes. Interior is 100% restored. Has 71 style high back front seats in lieu of the one year only 70 low back buckets with headrest. New Headliner, New Carpet, New Pkg. Tray, Legendary Interiors Seat covers on front and rear seats, New ACI Seat Foam in front seats, new front and rear door panels, restored 4 speed center console with new Shift Plate, New OER Dash Pad, dash components restored with SEM Landau Black Dye, Radio Delete Panel, U-14 Gauge Cluster (amp meter is inop, temp gauge is inop. only due to temp. sender being utilized for an after market temp. gauge) Speedometer, Tach, and fuel gauges work and believe it or not the clock even works.....doesn't keep good time, but it works. Also has new gauge cluster bezel. Windshield wipers have been removed so don't know functionality of those. Heater delete as well. Paint job is not a very good paint job but is Silver with Black Stripes. When I purchased the car it had the one piece low spoiler, I removed that and have installed the tall 3 piece spoiler. Spoiler ends are OER aftermarket ends, center spoiler is an excellent condition OEM/GM center spoiler. Spoiler ends are unfinished right out of the box, center spoiler is primered. Body is very solid and very straight with no rust. Unknown if major body panels are original or aftermarket. Trunk interior has been restored and sprayed with spatter paint. Cowl Hood. Following items are all brand new: gas tank with sending unit, Hotchkis rear lowering leaf springs, Hotchkis 1.5 Street Performance Series shocks in front and rear, Hotchkis lowering front coil springs, and wheels and tires as mentioned above. Dressing up under the hood and puttting a decent paint job on this car is all it will take to have a real nice 70 RS ......with a 454 and 4 Speed even!!! I have the following exterior parts that are brand new, in the box, and will let go with the car for a negotiated price if buyer is interested: RS parking lite assemblies, rear tail/brake lite lenses, RS Grille inserts, Chrome RS grille surround, Chrome RS Bumperettes, Stainlees trim above side windows, chrome headlight bucket surrounds, and front/hood Camaro emblem. Car is being sold as is with no warranty. Have clear title. All shipping costs and arrangements, if necessary, are the responsibility of the buyer. Sale is CASH ONLY IN PERSON with pickup of vehicle....NO EXCEPTIONS. If this is not acceptable to you...DO NOT BID!!!!
