I bought this car about one year ago. The story I was told is that the car was used by the head of a south Texas college department that ran a police training school, as a show car. He never let anyone drive it, and when he died they didn't know what to do with it so let it sit for 3 years. That's how it has the AWESOME low mileage. Over the last year, I've restored the car, replacing the fuel tank, fuel pump, water pump, valve cover, fuel rails, plugs, plug caps and wires, belt, pulleys, brakes, rotors, all fuses, replaced the hood with a new one, both bumper covers and had it painted all black. All parts OEM or performance where possible. It needs a driver's rear interior door panel and new spotlight bulbs to be complete. Tons of power coming from that great ultra-reliable P71 V8 and augmented police package equipment. I was building it up as a prepper/sleeper car but now as I near it being completed, the wife says we need the money for our house we are building, so up for sale it goes (( I've been offered 11k twice and turned it down because I truly wanted to keep it but I lost this fight with the wife sigh, buyer wins here lol.
