I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2003 Volkswagen Golf with just 126k miles. I would rate the exterior of this Golf to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The dark blue finish looks good for its age and shines nicely. There is light damage visible on the right side of the car. If you look in the photos, you'll see a crease that runs the better part of the length of the right side of the car. It isn't horrible, but it is there so please look closely so you know exactly what you're getting. The body panels all line up straight. The doors, hood and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses (except the right side marker) are intact. The headlight lenses have some typical hazing from age. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set or rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this Golf to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age. The deeply bolstered cloth seats show well and are very comfortable. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The dash and headliner are clean. The factory audio system has been upgraded with an aftermarket CD player which powers up and looks to be working properly. The climate control system also appears to be working as it should. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this Golf appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.0L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The 2.0L crossflow engine is virtually indestructible. I could bore you for hours with stories of how great they are. Her road manners are good for an older car. I can feel a little bit of play in the front end but only when you're pulling out or stopping. When you're driving, she is as smooth as silk and feels as tight as a drum. At this age, I would put my money on the strut bushings. They're a common wear item on these cars and the symptoms I see all fit that diagnosis. Steering and braking feel solid. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are smooth, as they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. These little things get crazy gas mileage and are stupid reliable...without costing a fortune to buy and maintain. Hello my name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2003 Volkswagen Golf with just 126k miles. I would rate the exterior of this Golf to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The dark blue finish looks good for its age and shines nicely. There is light damage visible on the right side of the car. If you look in the photos, you'll see a crease that runs the better part of the length of the right side of the car. It isn't horrible, but it is there so please look closely so you know exactly what you're getting. The body panels all line up straight. The doors, hood and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses (except the right side marker) are intact. The headlight lenses have some typical hazing from age. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set or rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully.
I would rate the interior of this Golf to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age. The deeply bolstered cloth seats show well and are very comfortable. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The dash and headliner are clean. The factory audio system has been upgraded with an aftermarket CD player which powers up and looks to be working properly. The climate control system also appears to be working as it should. The cargo area is spacious and clean.
Mechanically, this Golf appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.0L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The 2.0L crossflow engine is virtually indestructible. I could bore you for hours with stories of how great they are. Her road manners are good for an older car. I can feel a little bit of play in the front end but only when you're pulling out or stopping. When you're driving, she is as smooth as silk and feels as tight as a drum. At this age, I would put my money on the strut bushings. They're a common wear item on these cars and the symptoms I see all fit that diagnosis. Steering and braking feel solid. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are smooth, as they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. These little things get crazy gas mileage and are stupid reliable...without costing a fortune to buy and maintain. Talk about a no brainer...thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

CARS' Power Train Limited Warranty covers all lubricated parts contained within the engine block, all lubricated parts contained within the transmission housing, drive axle lubricated parts, drive shaft, universal joints, CV joints and wheel bearings. Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
