You are bidding on a 1963 Chevy II Nova 400 2 door hardtop sport coupe. The car has a 283 V-8 engine that has been bored to 4 inch, domed forged pistons, steel crank, comp cams Thumpr hydraulic cam, double roller timing chain, chevy powerpac heads with 2.02/1.60 stainless valves, heavy duty springs and retainers, Holley street dominator intake, electronic ignition with rev limiter, heavy duty clutch, exhaust with turbo mufflers, etc. The car was originally a powerglide car but has been converted to a 4speed with new shifter. The drivetrain was overhauled in 2013 and has about 10k miles on it. At the same time, the suspension was overhauled with new coil springs, ball joints, tie rod ends, control arm bushings, new brakes, wheel cylinders, rear springs, bushings, shocks, u-joints, etc. The car was professionally repainted about 20 years ago, but shows very well...nice enough, in fact, to win a first place at a large local car show 2 years ago! No broken glass! The interior was also new in 2013 with new carpet, door panels, seat upholstery, rear package tray, firewall insulation kit, and floor mats. A lot of the exterior trim was replaced..headlight bezels, bumpers, and door handles. The chrome rims, hub caps and radial tires have less than 1k miles in them and are perfect. This car is NOT a rot box! The 20 year old paintjob is a testament to that, because if it was it would be falling apart! The car starts, runs and drives great and attracts a lot of attention. I urge you to come and look at it if you are in the area. I can lift it on the hoist for your inspection, as I own an auto repair facility. As a side note...I have a complete factory air set up that I can throw in if you want it. It is COMPLETE, too! The AC heater box, restored under dash unit, wiring harness, rebuilt AC compressor, condenser, mounting brackets for the pump, new dryer, and front bumper valance to clear the condenser. I planned to install it, but just don't have the time, but did install the front valance and AC heater box, so the hard stuff is kinda done. I just got it out of storage, changed the oil, topped off all the fluids, aired up the tires and charged the battery. It is ready to go!
