Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is this vivid 1969Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS. This car was bought 8 years ago. The previous owner had taken it completely apart to restore. The body was placed on a rotisserie and stripped to bare metal, body worked and then primed. It was in pieces when it was bought. There is absolutely no rust or cancer in the car. The floor pans, trunk pan, quarter panels, and the rest of the body are original to this car. The hood and passenger door were replaced when the car was restored. I have the title history of the car and all the owners history back to 1979. It has been in Lubbock, Texas since that time. It has been stored inside the last ten years. Four years ago, the car was totally rebuilt. All of the work was done at a shop in Lubbock, Texas. This car was built the 4th week of Oct 1968, it does NOT have an X code. It is an original RS/SS car. It had the factory hide a way headlights and it has the bracket for the dual exhaust. If you know Camaros, you know what I am talking about. The engine is a 396 (402) bored .50 over. The casting date is April 1969. It is not the original engine of course. The engine was completely rebuilt with all new internal parts. It runs great and sounds great. The transmission is a rebuilt turbo 400 automatic with a shift kit and stall converter. It shifts quick and hard. The rear end is a 12 bolt posi unit with 3.31 gears. The paint and body work on this car is excellent. The original color was hugger orange (code 72) on the trim tag. It is now painted pearl orange. The paint used is the same paint on a 2009 Lamborghini (factory name is Arancio Borealis). The stripes are pearl white. The colors are stunning. It gets great attention. The interior is all new with white and black houndstooth seat covers and sport seats from TMI. Every part of this car has been worked on. New Vintage Air, Flowmaster exhaust, CPP disc brakes on rear, etc, etc, etc. Over 100k on this car. The car was finished about two years ago. I have put about 700 miles on it since then. This is practically a new '69 Camaro. Clear TX title in hand. Folder full of receipts for the work and parts. May the best bidder win. This car is being advertised elsewhere, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. For more info contact Lavares. There is NO RESERVE on car!!!
