1971 Dodge Challenger R/T tribute Engine: 318 V8Trans: auto 904 slapstick Ext color: Orange (originally FE5 red car)Int color: Black ( originally H6XW black and white) Wheels: 14" RallyCondition: good driver Story: This was my first Mopar rebuild. I bought it in good running condition but rough overall visually inside and out. Meaning a lot of things were patched up and rigged such as some poor guy was using it as a lone vehicle , everyday transportation, and was only getting by. I cleaned up the wiring nightmare under the hood, fixed some leaks, restored the wheels, added new tires, changed a partial floor pan, restored the interior and carpet, installed CD player and speakers, added R/T graphics, had some minor body work done and a fresh exterior paint job, and repaired many other small issues, etc... Temporary 6 gallon fuel tank works fine for short town runs... will need neck and tank. This car is not perfect, but is an eye catcher by all. It's not a show winner but looks great from 10 feet away if you know what I mean. Since then, I've been driving it every chance I get. I decided to stop the restoration at this point and go on to a different car. If you're looking for a car that you could continue the restoration on a little at a time yet still drive it while doing so, this is the car for you.
