Vehicle Detail
I'm getting an early start on a spring listing of my 80's built street rod. This car was built by a friend of mine that was in the upholstery business by trade. That explains the great interior this car features for being built back then. This car has been running the streets since 1982, with no problems of any kind-with the exception of a new battery now and then. The engine is a 1979 Buick v6-carbureted with a 350 turbo transmission, a pretty standard choice for some of the cars back then. The front end suspension is a Plymouth Volare with torsion bars rather than springs, and rack and pinion steering(I think mustang variety). The rear has coil springs and triangulated arms. The car runs and drives great-steers good-and stops good. The wheels are chrome Tru-Spoke brand that are like new, as the car has always been protected-covered and not winter driven...It was necessary to back it out into the cold for pictures...brrr. My purchase of another street rod is leading m to sell this one as my storage space is limited. There is no warranty or guarantee on this car as with most all classic and hot rod type cars. I have described to the best of my knowledge, but questions are encouraged, and will be promptly answered. This is a great family cruiser, dependable, and always admired by everyone wherever I go. I had people stopping while I took the photos. The buyer will be responsible for shipping payment...I will assist the transport driver on pick up. Thanks for looking..... I should add that the front seats have been set back a few inches on this car making it easier for a larger guy(such as me) to drive. The car also uses the original speedometer and odometer-both working.
